Raphie with his favorite "Cousin Jill" in the pool. Sadly, scrawny French boys can only tolerate about 15 minutes of "piscine" time before they turn blue.
Raphie, realizing how nice it is to be bundled in a warm towel, suggested we could jump into the pool with the towel. "Sauter avec towel?" 
Jacob making a "mean face." The boys went on a "hike" in the ravine. "Hike" being used in the Southern California sense of the word.
